Privacy policy
Fasfox privacy policy
1. Purpose of this policy
This privacy policy applies to the public Fasfox website. It explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how long we retain it, who may receive it and the rights available to you under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This policy supplements our legal notice.
2. Principles governing personal data
We process personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently. Data is collected for specified purposes, limited to what is necessary, kept only for an appropriate period and protected against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.
Processing is carried out only where there is a valid legal basis, such as consent, performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, protection of vital interests, performance of a task in the public interest or a legitimate interest that does not override your rights.
3. Data collected through this website
When you use our contact form, we may collect your name, email address, company and the information you include in your message. Technical information such as an IP address may also be processed for security and anonymous traffic analysis.
We use contact details to respond to enquiries and manage our business relationship. We retain this information for no longer than three years after the most recent contact, unless a longer period is required by law or an ongoing contractual relationship.
Personal data is not sold. Contact information may be stored in HubSpot, our customer relationship management system, and may be processed by service providers acting on our instructions.
The website is hosted by DigitalOcean. Infrastructure and service providers may process data outside France subject to the safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.
4. Data controller
The data controller is Fasfox. Questions or requests concerning personal data may be sent to [email protected].
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. The website uses TLS encryption to secure data in transit. If a personal-data breach is likely to create a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the competent authority and, where required, the people affected.
5. Your rights
Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you may request access to your personal data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing. You may also withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We may ask for information needed to confirm your identity and will respond within the period required by law, normally one month.
You may also lodge a complaint with the French data-protection authority, the CNIL, or with the competent supervisory authority in your country.
6. Cookies
The Fasfox website does not use advertising cookies.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website, our practices or applicable law. The current version is always available on this page.
